I have used my VBA for Options since 2003 and updated it as I go. The registry key in 2013 has a new name but uses the VBA above just the same to stamp the registry because it is different to the default 10 minute interval:Īt least in 2013 the layout options are gone (but you can get them back if you must there is a way). Below is the VBA set with a 1 minute interval which works in 2007 20:Īs I said my ToolsOptions VBA has been run on my computer in this particular network (Word 2007). But I create the keys I need using a set of cmds that stamp the registry. Word 2013 has less Options in Layout and most new ones aren't accessible via VBA. They really want to look to see if there is an option in GPO. Since they don't set it by GPO it doesn't stamp the registry with a key stating the change - 1 minute 2 minutes etc. That is what they are looking for - as per screenshot for 2010. Word displays the Replace tab of the Find and Replace dialog box. (Links are nothing but field codes, so the full field codes for each of your links should be visible.) Press Ctrl+H. The only available default Option in 2010 (and 2007) is AutoRecoverDelay which is default 10 I always set to 1. (If you are in Print Layout view, Word tries to repaginate quite often as you try to do the changes, and that makes this whole process much longer.) Press Alt+F9 so that field codes are showing. Word Options in 20 may be slightly different but I have run my Word VBA Options macros on this particular network and they work in 2007 without any error.
